Paul Graner Jr. a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on November 15, 2014 at the age of 83.

Paul was born on January 24, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA to Julia Peller and Paul Sr. who came to United States from Budapest, Hungary.

Paul spent early adulthood serving his country in the United States Navy aboard U.S.S. Skagit in Korea. During his time of service he was honored with the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and China Service Medal.

A resident of Whittier, CA for 54 years, Paul worked as a pressman for the Whittier Daily News for nearly 18 years and as a machinist thereafter.

He was known as a great handyman that built, repaired and restored many things for his loved ones in addition to the maintenance of his entire home. Paul spent many summers enjoying the property he owned in Bullhead City, AZ boating, fishing and relaxing for countless hours with family and friends on the shore of the Colorado River.

Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years Kathryn; children: Debbie, Alan and Nancy; grandchildren: Alicia, Bryan, Jeffrey, Christina, Paul and Tiffany and great grandchildren: Devyn, Nathan, Brayden and Emma. He will be greatly missed but forever in the hearts of all who loved him!

Visitation will be held Sunday November 30, 2014 at Guerra & Gutierrez Mortuary in Whittier, CA from 5pm-9pm, including a vigil beginning at 7pm. Graveside Service will be held Monday December 1, 2014 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA at 11:30am.
