Kenneth Dunham Evans, 80, of Live Oak passed on August 18, 2008. Born November 30, 1927 in Syracuse, NY, Kenneth was a Yuba/Sutter resident for the last 40 years.

Kenneth served in the US Navy from 1945-1948. He worked as an Electrician for the California Dept. of Transportation.

He taught Hunter's Safety in the Live Oak Schools for many years and was a member of the Live Oak Lions since 1966, serving as secretary and past President. He was also a Deputy District Governor and Zone Chairman also Life Member of the National Rifle Association, as well as being a member of the Live Oak Cemetery Board.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Connie Evans, of Live Oak; son Dennis Evans of Washtucna, WA; daughter Kathie Evans of Live Oak; and daughter Nanci Lush and husband Peter of Cleveland, GA.

Memorial Services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th, 1:00 PM at Our Father's House, 10720 Live Oak Blvd., Live Oak, Reverend Dennis Evans will officiate (of Community Presbyterian Church, Washtucna, WA). Interment will be at Live Oak Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Kenneth's name may be made to the Live Oak Lions Club, The American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.Under the Direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
