Carl Kennie Parker, 85, of Clover, SC passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill, SC.

Born in Hickory, NC he was a son of the late Sanford Aaron and Beulah Mae Hawkins Parker. Mr. Parker was a retired Lieutenant from the U.S. Navy after 26 years of service. During his naval career he served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Clover Shrine Temple and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Mary E. Hart Parker of the home; a daughter, Sandra Brown and husband Billy; a son Carl Kennie Parker, Jr., and wife Mary Gene; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Schrobilgen, Mathew Newman, Kristie Lynn Parker; 5 great grandchildren, Nate, Savannah, Ember, Brandon and Aaron; a sister, Emma Jean Parker and a brother, Harold Dean Parker.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by 2 brothers, Thomas and Bob Parker.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park with full military honors.

The Family will receive friends from 2 until 3 Wednesday at the mortuary prior to the service.
