Frederick N. Weber
Frederick Norbert Weber, age 85, of Sheboygan, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. He was born in Sheboygan on March 26, 1926, the son of the late Nicholas and Marie Schinabeck Weber.
Fritz attended Sheboygan North High School, graduating in 1944. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving his country during World War II in the European and Pacific Theaters aboard the USS Skagit. On December 29, 1956 he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Trimberger at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He worked 35 years at the Wisconsin Telephone Company until his retirement in 1988.
Fritz enjoyed playing baseball and bowling in his teenage and early adult years. He was an avid stamp collector, Cubs fan and the best crossword puzzle solver ever! During his lifetime he donated 24 gallons of blood to the Red Cross in honor of his late nephew, Michael Weber. As a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church he served as an usher, Men's Club member, funeral mass server and helped maintain the lawn.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou, of Sheboygan, three children, Jenny(Terry Droeger) Weber, of Minneapolis, MN, Scott(Glenida) Weber, of Spokane, WA, Elizabeth(Jack) Gehr, of Sheboygan, five grandchildren, Nathan, Arielle, Tiffany, Quinten, Zachary, one great-granddaughter, Amiah, a brother, Richard(Nancy) Weber, of Sheboygan, sisters-in-law, Deloris Thiele, of Sheboygan Falls, Patricia Steffen, Connie Rael, and Carol Trimberger, all of California. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frank and Julitta Stoelb Trimberger, a sister, Lorraine Loritz and his brothers, Clem, Norm and Bernie Weber, all preceded Fritz in death.
Fritz was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 11:00A.M., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave., with Rev. Michael Dineen, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9:30A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:00A.M. Interment will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Fritz's name. The Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
